About the Business
Our first beginners course started in January 2005 and the club was formed soon after. In 2006, needing a larger venue, the club moved to Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham. In July 2013, due to the redevelopment of the hall at the National Water Sports Centre and the need for an even larger hall to continue the development of the club, we took up residence at the Clifton Leisure Centre and increased our club hours to allow adult members to train twice a week.
We fence in a large well lit salle, with at least four electric pistes each week plus room for more. There are showers / changing rooms, and vending machines for food and snacks at the centre.
We are a three-weapon club with opportunities to train and compete in foil, sabre and epee. Beginners' Courses concentrate on foil and there are short introductory courses in sabre and epee for members once a year. You can find more details of the course and an enrolment form on the Beginners page.
